本會游泳運動員許家俊及陳睿琳當選2018年第四季運動燃希望基金傑出青少年運動員

傑出青少年運動員選舉由香港體育學院(體院)主辦,於2012年起得到運動燃希望基金贊助,以季度形式表揚本地19歲以下青少年運動員的傑出運動成績。運動燃希望基金傑出青少年運動員選舉 2018年周年慶祝活動及第4季頒獎典禮於 2019年3月14日假體院舉行,本會游泳運動員許家俊及陳睿琳獲頒傑出青少年運動員獎項,以表揚其卓越成績。
 
許家俊在印尼2018亞洲殘疾人運動會男子100米背泳(S14)獲得一面金牌。
陳睿琳亦於印尼2018亞洲殘疾人運動會的女子100米蝶泳(S14)、女子200米個人四式(SM14)及女子100米背泳(S14)分別勇奪金、銀、銅牌各一面,並以時間1:08.56刷新女子100米蝶泳(S14)的亞洲紀錄及亞殘運紀錄。
 
Organised by the Hong Kong Sports Institute (HKSI) and sponsored by the Sports for Hope Foundation since 2012, the Outstanding Junior Athlete Awards (OJAA) recognises the achievements of outstanding local junior athletes under the age of 19 on a quarterly basis. The Sports for Hope Foundation Outstanding Junior Athlete Awards Annual Celebration and 4th Quarter 2018 Prize Presentation Ceremony was held at HKSI on 14 March 2019. Our athletes HUI Ka Chun and CHAN Yui Lam were awarded in recognition of their excellent performance in the quarter.
 
HUI Ka Chun achieved gold medal in Men’s 100m Backstroke (S14) in the Indonesia 2018 Asian Para Games.
CHAN Yui Lam achieved 1 gold, 1 silver and 1 bronze medal in Women’s 100m Butterfly (S14), Women’s 200m Individual Medley (SM14) and Women’s 100m Backstroke (S14) respectively in Indonesia 2018 Asian Para Games. With record of time 1:08.56 in Women’s 100m Butterfly (S14), which refreshed both the Asian Record and Asian Para Games Record.
