本會游泳運動員陳朗天及陳睿琳當選2019年第一季運動燃希望基金傑出青少年運動員
The 1st quarter of 2019 Outstanding Junior Athlete Awards – CHAN Long Tin and CHAN Yui Lam

傑出青少年運動員選舉由香港體育學院(體院)主辦,於2012年起得到運動燃希望基金贊助,以季度形式表揚本地19歲以下青少年運動員的傑出運動成績。運動燃希望基金傑出青少年運動員選舉 2019年第1季頒獎典禮於2019年6月27日假體院舉行,本會游泳運動員陳朗天及陳睿琳獲頒傑出青少年運動員獎項,以表揚其卓越成績。

 

在墨爾本舉行的2019世界殘疾人游泳系列賽中,陳睿琳勇奪女子100米蝶泳金牌以及女子200米個人四式銅牌;而陳朗天則於男子200米個人四式比賽中贏得銅牌,因而首次獲選為「傑出青少年運動員」。

陳睿琳亦以時間1:07.26刷新女子100米蝶泳(S14)的亞洲紀錄。

Organised by the Hong Kong Sports Institute (HKSI) and sponsored by the Sports for Hope Foundation since 2012, the Outstanding Junior Athlete Awards (OJAA) recognises the achievements of outstanding local junior athletes under the age of 19 on a quarterly basis. The Sports for Hope Foundation Outstanding Junior Athlete Awards 1st Quarter 2019 Prize Presentation Ceremony was held at HKSI on 27 June 2019. Our athletes CHAN Long Tin and CHAN Yui Lam were awarded in recognition of their excellent performance in the quarter.

 

CHAN Yui Lam and CHAN Long Tin were named OJAA by their outstanding performance at Melbourne 2019 World Para Swimming World Series. Yui Lam won one gold and one bronze medal in the Women’s 100m Butterfly and Women’s 200m Individual Medley while Long Tin got a bronze medal in the Men’s 200m Individual Medley.

With record of time 1:07.26 in Women’s 100m Butterfly (S14), Yui Lam also refreshed the Asian Record.
